whats up guys. I recently purchased a 360. I bought doom 3 today and noticed while playing it on xbox live My 360 kept freezing.(happended 3 times already) The single player part of the game seems to work fine.

I dont have any 360 games to test out right now. The Live demos i downloaded play just fine online.

the manufacturing date is 5-11-2006. Its a hitachi drive btw. Oh and doom 3 was bought brand new this morning. so theres no scratches on the disc.

Is it normal for a game to freeze while playing online?

Sounds like it might be an error with the game itself.  Try exchanging the game and see if that helps.
