Tough Question About Dvd Dolby And Ifo Parse
« on: June 19, 2004, 09:24:00 AM »

Try and follow me,

I Dvd2xboX a movie and it "fails to copy 8 files" probably because of copy protection or something.  So i manually copy those 8 files from the disk to my computer, then ftp them to the xbox where they belong and walaa - i got a full dvd by playing the ifo file.

Here is the problem:

When i play a single vob file it plays only part of the movie which is fine - but it plays it in dolby digital 3/2 which is correct.  However when I play the ifo to play the entire movie uninterrupted, it only plays it in normal surround, and not dolby.  It's noticeably different in audio quality.  My question is how can i play the whole movie in dolby digital, instead of having to play part-by-part?

I will pay someone who can figure that out.

Note: If a movie copies without "failed files" the ifo will play in full dolby digital.

Thanks!  <

Change audio stream in osd?

If that is not possible try replaceing the ifo file with the bup file (same name otherwise)  <
