Like my title says... my xbox360 wireless controller does not work if it's not plugged in on the xbox360.

The green light indicator is never turned on.  The battery and the controller are semi-new, meaning I just bought them a couple of days ago to see if it was the battery or the controller but it still does the same thing with the new battery/controller...

It has kept me wonder if this is an ill effect of a succesfully flashed samsung...even thought it was correctly flashed, maybe it trigger something or simply this xbox360 (2nd xbox360) is defected.  I didn't check anything before the flash because I assumed that everything was working since it was a new xbox360.

Do you guys have any clue or ideas of what's going on..

did you sync the controller with the 360?

press the button by the battery pack, then the button on the 360 near the power button... they LED's will dance for a minute, then you should be good.

Well it's already synched in.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)  it does work with out the cable..for about 4 minutes..and then controller stops working...

Like I said, the light on the controller is never lit.. maybe I'm just an unlucky sob and got another non-working battery.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm gonna just put this out here:

To turn on the wireless controller you need to hold down the guide button for 2 - 4 seconds.. o.O I'm gonna assume you already know this though.

All you have to do is call 1-800-4my-xbox and explain to a represenitive what happened and they will send out a new controller free of charge and then you send your broken controller to them. With free shipping.  I hope this helps
