So I Have 3 Red Lights Blinking At Me...

hey,
i got my xbox 360 at Christmas. there was no problem with it what so ever...until today. i turned it on and it either boots up and freezes or boots up with no video/audio and gives me 3 red lights around the on/off button.
what does this mean?
