Don't know which forum I should be in...

The problem is that I can't get any sound from the headset using the wireless controller..
Is there a way of testing if the headset is faulty?
Or am I newbing out completely here and have not found an option that enables it..
Thnx

take no offense to this but you know its just for hearing others on xbox live right?

No offence taken m8..
In fact I didn't know it was only for x-box live
Does that mean that I can't play without having to subject the whole family to the noise?

Correct. The headset is ONLY intended as a means to talk and listen to other people on Xbox Live or over System Link. It was not designed as and cannot be used as a device to replace sound from your TV.

well you could get some headphones, just get a y adapter (female rca to female 1/8" jack) and plug red and white into the back of that and headphones and youll be good to go
