Well when I first called because it was freezing and occasionaly getting 0102 they told me my console was no longer under warranty and I'd have to pay 140 bucks or whatever to repair it. So I opened it up and put the AS on the cpu's and mem and closed it up. It ran for about a day after that with no problems, then the following day it totally died, 0102 non stop, it just wont boot. So I call MS back to see what they'll say, I mention the red lights and the 0102 error and now all of the sudden they say my console IS under warranty and that they'll fix/replace it for free. I'm like "wtf??". So I didnt tell them I opened it, my return box is in the mail, I'm just hoping they wont notice or care. I put the MS sticker back on but its obvious its been taken off and opened. The point is, I never would have opened it if they had told me they'd fix it free in the FIRST place. Does anyone know if they do decide they're not going to repair it if they'll just automaitcally ship it back or will they call me first? I want an opportunity to argue with them before it gets sent back.
