i have tried to stream quicktimetrailers(www.quicktime.com/trailers) but it don't work

can anyone help me ?

Streaming movies works for mpg, mms and asx files.

Quicktime is only partialy supported in xbmc (even if the whole file is on the hdd), check pinned topic for a link to a thread explaining it in detail, so streaming them will NOT work. <

There is a conversion program available. I would not use it for quality videos but for poor quality trailers I use it whenever they won't play. It is very fast, only takes a few seconds to convert a trailer from mov to avi. It's a little buggy and crashes on ocasion but it will get the job done.

Only thing is I cannot get to my other computer right now to see what the name or web site is so I will edit this post a little later when I have the name. <
