Whilst not detracting from the usefulness of this adaptor, surely it would have been better if it was an external unit with a cable switchover controller  so you wouldnt have to keep the 360 case in bits and risk damaging the connections by constant plugging and unplugging the leads?

just a simple noobie question: i cannot be able to build the cable to connect the xbox 360 drive to my pc,so this product will solve my problem,right?

can anybody point me out a place where i can buy this tool?is it already avaiable somewhere?

another question....: will this product support both xbox 360 drive? samsung and hitachi?

I'm going to have spare just like you so i was thinking about putting my hitachi in an external case and using an internal to external sata adapter for a more permanent solution for ripping backups.


I am not worried about the firmware on the H drive - but it will make it easier for ripping games with out having to move the TS all around each time

yeah, this should power your drive and let it connect to your pc through serial ata. i don't think they officially said one way or the other, but it should work for either drive.

Sata to ide convertor
just waiting to see if any one thinks this all work. any one any ideas as it seems it should.
got them on ebay for about £5.
