Ha anyone received their's yet? I ordered mine immediately with next day delivery and it still isn't here
I decided to call the service number in Florida (727-431-0650) to see what's up with this thing. The operator said that this product is not in stock. So I asked if it's so popular that it's already sold out. The operator said that there is no projected date for its release. That means that you guys that have ponied up the dough for this thing were really paying for a pre-order in full.

I'm not trying to aggravate you guys, but I urge someone else to call and confirm.

Here in the UK the 'Customer Services' number is permanently busy, my order status says despatched but I have had no deliveries here sad.gif

I have had no reply to numerous emails sent either.

Phil

Just got through to EU customer services, they say NO ONE has received their order as stocks have not been received at all.

Looks like they are operating a pre-order scheme WITHOUT telling the customer  grr.gif

Phil

*********UPDATE*********

Have you guy's seen the US and EU site?

You now cannot buy XSATA on either site, it says coming soon!

Yep, it's just like the guy told me. They were just selling pre-orders for the device.

They even pulled it from their product line-up: link. It used to be the top item on that page. You can't even search for it because their search feature is down. I was considering getting one of these, but I guess I won't bother ordering from them now (maybe when they're widely available if something better hasn't come along).

Edit:

XSATA for Xbox 360 is coming soon. As always, will be available direct from Datel's Codejunkies Shop for a mere $39.99. Look out for it early this Summer...

Cunts! (so so sorry for the language) I paid almost £5 for next day delivery so I have a right to swear!

At least everyone is in the same boat. I can't believe Datel has done this!

i bet you a million bucks microdick forced them to pull it from production because of the obvious hacking abilities that this thing allows for.
i mean seriously  if you can get in the middle of the xbox and its communication with the 360 what do they expect. ?  you could copy entire game cache files to the pc and start hacking games and whatever.
id almost bet you there was a real quick easy way to hack it to explore the dvd drive also.. i knwo that sounds lame but its not unlikely..

anyways this really sucks balls for all of us.. as you can bet that if it does come out you wont be able to use it with the 360 running the way you can now.  maybe take off the hard drive and then pull data  and only from certain partitions. maybe they will force datel to lock you out of all the partitions.. who knows  but this sucks...

Ordered pretty much when it came out on X-S frontpage. Got an email saying that payment accepted. Day later got an email saying that they were out of stock. Emailed them when it would be available. Took them 3 days for them to reply to my email and only to find out that they might be receiving stock in May... not overly happy with them at the moment.

well i looked the other day at my hard drive free space and it said 2 gigs, so i deleted a lot of trailers and demos that i didnt watch or play.  now i have 9 gigs.

but if the DirecTV thing gets included with in a future update so we can download and watch TV on the xbox, then you might go through space real quick!

Just got the email from WorlPay confirming they've refunded my order back to my card - also the UK phone number goes thru to MaxTV which is owned by Datel (I think ?) Codejunkies is a front-end for Datel, so they should be able to help you with any enquiry - they did me wink.gif

Please tell me how you got your refund from WorlPay.

I need this information badly because I did not intend on buying a product that was "in stores now" and now is scheduled for a summer release. What bullcrap. I am so pissed.

Please tell me. Worlpay's site doesn't show any phone number I can find.

Can you please tell me what phone number you dialed and/or what email address you used to get a refund?

Thank you in advance.

It's good to see that someone actually made an adapter like this and sold it, unlike the various companies that showed pics of their own crappy looking adapters and did nothing.

currently just pre-orders, but yes, it is a great product (at least in concept - nobody has them yet except for datel's prototype.)

anyways - since these things havent been made yet, and Datel has probably looked at this thread (because they are active members of the scene) - they might have made the decision to make the light green (or have different colors, etc.)

fingers crossed

The first number there is the one I called to inquire about the product. That's when I found out that they're just selling pre-orders.

Uh, no offense and with all due respect, I've called them 100 times.

They never answer their phones (even during normal business hours).

No matter which option I choose It says "please wait while we contact you with a representative" after I puse 1 for this 2 for that, etc (you know the number pushing game before an operator) or 0 for an operator.

Then immediately it always says, everytime I call and others said the same on this board that this is true - it says they are all busy and to try again and/or visit the site again for more help.

What crap.

Sometimes it will let you leave a voicemail, depending on the department, but I've left a lot of them being very respectful and mature and professional yet still nothing. I've been trying to contact them since the day I bought the thing on the 8th or whenever that was, so almost a week.

I know of these numbers, bro. I appreciate you trying to help but I'm not retarded - I know where and how to find numbers to call for companies on their websites (rofl). Like I said, though, no disrespect towards you and no I am not flaming you so don't take this as me being disrespectful towards you.

-------------------

Anyway, check this out. I go to CodeJunkies and check order status and it says no orders. I go to my online banking on my bank's website and wow I have the charge.

I purchased it through the CodeJunkies website so it should have shown up in there, even though they are ran by Datel.

How are you other people saying your order says "dispacthed" and such when mine doesn't even show up on the CodeJunkies website?

Also, I have the email in my email inbox still from from April 8th, the minute I purchased it confirming it FROM "[email protected]" with the subject being "Your CodeJunkies Order is Complete" and the email says:

Dear XXXXXX XXXXXXXX,

Your order, XXXXXXXXX, has now been completed.

For further information or assistance please contact customer services on
0845 6010015 or email [email protected].

-------

Yet, once again, it says no orders found on their site!! Plus, like I said, they don't answer any emails nor phone calls.

I'm going to contact my bank on Monday and get a chargeback and possibly contact my lawyer and file a couple of lawsuits with the main one being false advertisement of the "In Stores Now" when I purchased it.

This is insanely ridiculous.
