I notice someone from the UK posted here. At the risk of cluttering up my room even more, how much, where and how do you switch to NTSC from Pal? Thanks in advance, bud! wink.gif

You need the enigmah switcher. I think you can find it at the usual places.

Hi there,
I'm also in the UK and am interested in buying the X2VGA. For the person that has this in the UK....how have you managed to power it, i'm guessing you have purchased a 3-Pin version of the transformer that is supplied. Any ideas on suppliers? Also, anybody had any experience with this on a 15" LCD. Mine is an iiyama e380s about 2 years old. I guess I will only be able to see thinks in 480p. Thanks in advance.

It probably futher improves quality on a monitor because, the Xbox doesn't display true digital format it only supports compnents, vga, Svideo, Rca all of which are analog signals.  Which explains why the 360 looks washed out on LCD.  The neoya Transcodes analog to true Digital.  Here's an article below about the 360's lack of "true digital" support

"Unfortunately in the first version of the Xbox 360, that AV cable port appears to be strictly analog. MS has indicated that they may support HDMI at a later point in time, but that may require a new revision of the motherboard - assuming there is no digital video signal carried over the AV port. On the flip side, ATI has had a history of placing TMDS transmitters on their GPUs, so it may be possible that a digital video signal is present at this connector today, although if it were we don't understand why MS wouldn't offer a DVI/HDMI cable option now."

Yes, of course it will work. It works on 99% of monitors that support VGA. There isn't really much point in asking whether it will work on a certain model or not dry.gif

Why is this X2VGA 2 adapter better for the XBox360 then the VGA-adapter from MS?

Better color, better contrast, also works with the original Xbox.

I received my box today. I am currently running a Soft Modded XBOX and am able to have this display in 720p on my projector.
Looks GREAT.

However, when I load a game up - it switches to 640x480 (my projector says this) and there are lines in between everything on the screen and very jittery. How do I force my games to load at 720p?

A lot of games do not support 720p, only 480p.
