on their site they say "MS disables the high-definition video output on the PAL version Xbox(only sold in Europe, Australia, NZ, Hong Kong etc.), so it cannot work normally with the X2VGA 2." my xbox is pal and modded, so if i play ntsc games on it will this work? or has it been disabled all together?
as soon as you've set your xbox to NTSC mode, it behaves like a genuine NTSC-XBOX.
so switch to NTSC (Enigmah Video Mode Switcher), activate 480p-Output in MS-Dashboard (Settings -> Video) and you're ready to go...
that means ready to use the X2VGA
EXTRA TIP:with the newest MS-Dash version 5960 you can
easily switch it to 480p progressive.hold left and right trigger + press left + right thumbstick

I own the former X2VGA 1 and it's definitely the best transcoder for the XBOX out there.
So if the X2VGA 2 is nearly as good as the old one is, you will be stunned seeing a crisp picture like this.
so go get it!
