X2VGA 2 High Definition VGA Transcoder
« Reply #105 on: May 15, 2006, 01:56:00 AM »

The problem with mine is that like Dougpr said, force feeding my monitor (acer 19inch 1280x1084) 720p doesn't work. It becomes too far adjusted to one side of the screen and the horizontal shift doesn't work at all. It works fine with 480p both widescreen and normal but it looks like I'm looking at a normal TV, not high def at all for what the monitor can display. I'd really like to have it look better so I'm going to try the XBox360 VGA cable and let you know. I think if you were to have a widescreen monitor, say 1390?x900 at max res. or something along those lines 720p would display fine. On a normal monitor with 4:3 aspect ratio it tries to force widescreen and just doesn't show up right. I'm no expert on all of this but from what I read I think this is whats going on.

On another note when it arrived the clear plastic on the top next to the second component in was broken and actually stuck inside the thing. Neoya sucks...

I've got a 20" widescreen BenQ LCD, does anybody know how well this thing works with LCD monitors? I've had troubles with other products.

Hey People,

I know I'm pretty late in getting one of these,  unsure.gif but I could use some help. I have all the cords connected right (from my xbox to X2VGA2, to monitor)and i know there is no audio for this is for video but the X2VGA2 is coming up colorless and distorted. Now that people have had these for a while i was hoping someone could help me out, by telling my how to add color to my halo2 gaming.

Thanks.

Hey guys...

I'm goin to buy the X2VGA 2 High Definition VGA Transcoder to connect my xbox 360 and ps2 to an lcd computer monitor. Do I need any xtra cables?

I see on this site http://boardsus.play...read.id=1402925 that for the ps3 this guy bought a Monster cable componate as well as a Y-adapter 1-male to 2-female audio cable for sound.

SO basically I'm just tyrin to find out if I have to buy that kinda stuff as well?

holla back
