Can you go online with 2 360s using just 1 wireless router?

You'll need to provide more details.  Are they both going to be connecting wirelessly?  If not, a product name and model number will help.  Details are golden.

yes both going online wirelessley, or they can be hardwired (rj45), but would prefare the wirless approach.  Router is a LYNKSYS WA54G Wirless router / ADSL modem.    1 connects and the other wont..

Run the network test thing on both Xbox 360s and see if any tests fail.  Give us the results.

I've had 3 Xboxes hooked into one router before with no problems.  Unless you have really good upstream bandwidth, you might have problems, though.  But why not just give it a try?

It doesn't matter that they all share the same outgoing IP address?  MS Live wont confuse them and think that they are all the same machine?

Nope.  Your router IP is the only address going out on your network.

He said it's ADSL so it's probably  1.5-3meg/256k

youll be able to connect to live no problem, but getting into games would be a challenge if all 3 were on

one time we had 4 360s playing halo 2 from one router with 3mb down/512k up and it was quite smooth
