Please Tell Me This Works...

if i have a xbox modded without ms and evox dash and it refuses to boot with a screen without the number of the error (even if i try to boot from cd), could i network another good xbox modded with this xbox and with xbftp copy the dasboard of the good xbox to the other xbox?
