Why do you people not just use a pair of rechargable batteries? The battery charger might be about a tenner more expencive than the play and charge kit ,but it works much better ,and a pair of fully charged batteries will last for about 20-30 hours. And you won't have to get a new pair of batteries for about a year and a half!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

yeah,and it's really pissing me off.

The point is that we payed for this already and we'd like it work as advertised and not have to buy rechargeables again (afterall, we bought the play and charge kit for a reason)

when they tell you how many hours charge should last that only means that under their lab controlled tests they have been able to get this figure.

but yeah, 2 sets of rechargable batteries work a treat, one set dies, replace them with the fresh ones and put the dead ones on to charge....never ending power and never any wires (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

EDIT: i feel i must add that these batteries should probably be treated a bit like phone batteries, where your meant to charge them for like 24hrs until you use them or youl get significantly less usage. I dont know if it says this in the manual or anything but if it does and you didnt read it then its your fault.

Probably sounds a bit mean...its not meant to (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Where are your getting this info?(you must not have a wireless controller)

That sounds about right, i usually get about 2 1/2 hours out of mine when I'm using the head set about 3-4 without

Just a reminder you have to let the system idle before it will start charging the batteries

Edit: I forgot to mention that i don't have a Play and Charge Kit, I'm thinking ill get rechargeable batteries(bi-mart for $15-20)

I got rechargable batteries ,and I play a lot . In about 2-3 weeks my batteries run out ,and that's about 30 hrs.
