When I go to play a movie, the screen goes black for a second as if it were about to load the movie, but the it flashes back to xbmc. I thought it was that i needed codecs but i got all the current ones and it still wont work. its a .avi file too so i dont think its a compatibility issue. Anyone know whats goin on?  <

I think people need a litlle bitt mor information like what build are you using, do you have the movies on you xbox or are you streaming them and so on.

My suggestion is to look in the xbmc log on your xbox.  <

sorry i didnt give enough info.
I am usin the June 11 build, and it didnt work on my old version either (which is why i upgraded). and im playing it directly from my xbox HD, its not streaming

im not too sure what it means with the pal-> ntsc framerate conversion. My region is ntsc..yea yea im confused..is there a solution?

*edit* i was just going through some of my old movies to see if they worked on my xbox, and they dont. I have watched them via my xbox before, so what could i have done to alter the settings?
