Wheres The Force Feedback Wheel?
« on: February 10, 2006, 01:53:00 PM »

Anyone else wonderin if theres gonna be a force feedback wheel? now not one of those poor excuses of a wheel that the manufacturers try to sell using the word force when all it is, is stupid childish vibration!!!! i hate vibration it should never have been invented!!!! (joke) but the difference in force feedback is like the difference between fantasy and reality. How much would you pay for a top o the range force wheel? ill start the poll at
£150 or $255(approx)
p.s. just so i dont get flamed..... i never said m/soft said there would be f.feedback support i was just hopin there would be.

I agree. I'm not interested in racing games unless there's a good wheel supporting FF. There shouldn't be any reason the 360 and Logitech don't come together. Logitech came up with the crap Daytona model for the 1st xbox, and it didn't even vibrate. Racing with a controller and racing with a FF wheel do not even compare. Realism is what many of us want, and we don't drive with controllers. I don't care if you say you get better times with a controller, that argument just won't work me. To answer the question I would pay anywhere between $150 and $200 USD tops. Target stores sell a racing seat with wheel stand, with adjustable positions for both the wheel and pedals. I would love to race Forza, McRae or Toca with a FF wheel and racing seat. Whooo Hoooo!!

Force Feedback!!!  if its force feedback i have no problem dishing out the cash for a good product.  $150 easy.  please dont give us crap vibration on a wheel that feels like itll break in your hand.  id love a good one for pgr3 and the upcoming forza2
