Just Got My 360. Have A Question.

Why is my HDD 10gb?  All the adds say it comes with a 20gb HDD.  What gives?  Do I need to format it to get the 20gb?  If so then why would MS load the music and stuff on there right away?  

I deleted all the music and preloaded stuff because I didn't want it and its still only 10gb.

Space is taken by the emulator for Xb1 games and some is used for caching as well... not sure exact nubers though.

One mine says 11 one says 12 there just diffrent depending the games you play the music you load all that.

Yeah it's just full of stuff needed for the xbox and downloaded crap. If you use your box to play music then my advice is not to use the 360s HD for mp3s and get yourself a USB2 external HD. I got myself a cheapo external enclosure and stuck in an old 40 gig I had lying around and filled it full of MP3s.
