Play And Charge Kit Question
« on: January 03, 2006, 09:02:00 PM »

Hey guys, I got my premium 360 on Jan. 1st at 12:01 A.M. . God was that a great day. Today, I went to target to buy the play and charge kit. Got home, installed the rechargeble battery pack that came included. Did exactly what I was told by the instructions. When I turned the system off by pressing the x on the controller like usual, and turn the system off. The red light was on the whole time the system shut off and then the fans kept running. But when they turned off, the red light went off. Is the play and charge kit light suppose to turn off the time the system is off yet keep charging, then turn green when charging is done? Please fill me in here because whenever my xbox 360 is completely off, my light on the charger is off to. Any advice is welcome.

The 360 was designed to shut the usb ports off when the system is off. That makes it impossible to charge anything off of it when it's off. When you shut the console down with your batteries charging the system remains on but in a low power standby mode. When the batteries are done charging the system powers off.

Yes when the batteries are charging the light will be red. When they are done charging the led will be green.
