Memory Card Backup Is It Possible?

Hello,

My mate wants to try and put me a game he`s downloaded of XBL on to my memory card, i told him i dont think it`s possible, as the stuff you download from XBL is encrypted to your profile,

Is this a correct assumption?.

Is it still possible to back up the info on the memory card for (backup purposes only) to an hard drive or memory card or PC.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say your assumption is correct.  Although I'm not 100% positive myself, I highly doubt MS would allow a person a simply give software away to his/her friends, when they partially rely on downloads from XBL to make up for the losses on the console.
