The power supply on my 360 is smaller and different. My console was made 11/25/05.

Discuss

The differences are mine doesnt have a fan, its got the light but not a fan and it doesnt get hot at all. I have no issues with my 360. And well its about the size of the PS from the orginal xbox. Can some one else post pics of the other power brick.

Wait, where are some pics of the normal PSU? My launch day PSU looks exactly like this, I think? Plus, I don't think I can hear the fan in my PSU going.
Minr has a light, too, and doesn't get hot.

Looks the same to me.

and as far as I know, the PSUs don't have fans.

i saw a psu somewhere on here that has a fan. and its bigger

no it was internal on one of the ends i thought. it exhausted out.

I also have a psu with no fans. It also has no air vents, it's completely sealed.

well those holes are for the fan and the fan must only kick on when it hot. I got mine at launch and it looks the same and never gets hot either. That other pic of the huge black long one is weird though. Ozy post some pics of yours..

my e10m has no fan and looks like yours. doesnt get hot, and my 360 doesnt have problems

the fans are in there you just dont see them

put your finger over the holes on the side, and turn on your 360.. air comes out of those holes.
