360 Parts Anyone?
« on: December 14, 2005, 08:44:00 PM »

i'm just wondering what the demnad for xbox 360 parts is like right now.

If it seems pretty good, then I might buy a few 360's to part out. Case, motherboard, wireless/power board, HDD, DVD, Brick, etc.

LMK what you think

I have actually been looking for the core's white drive bezel for my premium system, as the chrome kind of irritates me.

he switched core to premium, the question is now, will swapping core to core/premium to premium work, since the drive models actually differ too.

Yeah until we figure out how to change the game region/video settings the motherboards will be North America NTSC.

and yeah I'm gonna have to do some experimentation as to what parts are/are not interchangeable between boxes.

G0t M4xx 21 I so call Dibs on your first parted out chome bezel! Also Nija Fried I would be able to trade your with extra money or whatever but I painted mine... I might try to make a weak solution of water and thinner and soak the parts to see if I can get the paint off without damaging the plastic but you never know. DIBS!

It may be a few weeks (the first 360's I can snag will be painted, lighted, and going on ebay), but i can certainly guarantee that I will be supplying xbox 360 parts soon.

The first part-out will probably be done on Ebay to get an idea for pricing on these parts, i'll let y'all know when that happens.

Just gotta camp out this saturday night to try and get a few...

I might be interested in a core white bezel (im not too fond of the silver one the prenium has) especially if its easy to change.
