the only way i could figure to do this without too much effort was a program called Pinnacle Game Profiler.  It allows you to remap any controller to keyboard and mouse keys....i tried it with a few games and with FPS games it still doesnt allow the same playability as a mouse and keyboard.

also...Pinnacle Game Profiler is not free and after 30 days requires a purchase to continue using it...if anyone knows another way i'd be curious since i dont want to pay for this service
