do you mean like to recharge normal rechargeable batteries that you put inside the battery "barrell" thingy that comes with every wireless controller? i havent, i dont even have my 360 yet...

Their different battery types. (Play and charge kit is Litium Ion, Normal rechargables are Nickel Metal-hi or Nickel-Cadium). If you tried to charge normal rechargable batteries, you'd probably just ruin them.

360 battery packs are Nickle Metal Hydride but you cant charge regular batteries with the cable because the packs connect to the controller in a different place than normal AAs
