it is like the nintendo dpad, but the rest of reminds of me of the nyko ps2 controllers, they were made for the hands of robots. lets us know how it is. (this thread still haunts)

well the Hori controller a couple of posts back looks promising

Also I know last gen the Mad Catz controller had the best D-Pad because the elivated a daughter board below the D-Pad to make the throw shorter (and thus make the pad more precise)

no idea if their 360 controllers do that though.
