its a 12x speed but yeah the games get warm after long use... not really hot though. nothing to worry about i think

dont worry about it... only worry when the disk gets so warm it warps... lol...

the whole console in general would be getting hot, obviously this heat makes its way to the dvd drive. with all this new technology its going to get alot hotter than the xbox1 is..

i doubt it has anything to do with how fast the drive is spinning..
