i've bought my XBox on 2003 end. for 2/3 months,worked fine but after the cd/dvd drive got crazy! when i insert a game, it says me to plug the dvd remote control, when i insert i dvd it freeze lol...
sometimes it worked, but it got blocked when loading a level...
that's not the first time that a ms console is really really bugged... but this time problems are serious, my father   (he's graduated in electronics) says that's an hardware problem, the fan is not regulable, and it's low, so the video card go overheating, making Xbox crash.
So that lines/wrong colors are drawing errors of the video card
i've got same problem with my X800 aTi in my old pc, but now i've got 5 fans(lol!)in my case...
