Everyone in this thread talks about "all the problems" like this is an epidemic. I have three systems. None show any problems. I would be willing to guess that 99 out of a hundred or better are having no problems. Those folks don't post anything though. 1% of half a million machines is 5,000 systems -- and all those folks would be hitting problems at about the same time. It creates the illusion of massive problems.
I love it that people are somehow experts on how MS "rushed" the system to market. They have been working on it for three f'ing years -- hardly a rush job.
It sucks to have a problem with a new and expensive system, but it happens. Call MS and get it replaced.
Probably one on the best posts in any thread on any site discussing 360 "issues"
Let's take every name.. of every person with ANY 360 issue.. from this site.. add the names from other sites.. take that total.. and put that number over the number of launch consoles in the wild.
You don't need to be a math majoy to deduce that the problem is not systemic.. and surely not an epidemic.
But people.. who feel "burned" also are the most vocal. As long as we know they are just ranting and venting.. and don't represent even a minority.. much less a majority of user epxeriences with the 360.
On a radar.. they wouldn't register as a blip. Hell.. on a radar.. they could be ignored as a possibly booger on the screen.
