Hey just wondering whats the latest on mod chips for the 360.  Is there going to be 1. What team is making it (ice,spider, xecuter) or all.

I've heard smartxx was/is doing something or has done some type of mod, but that was awhile ago on the demo models

I'd go for 'stupid'. Hehe (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Really, the 'opcodes' for this CPU are not even in the open, let alone the understanding of the sHype supervisor architecture, dumps of the TSOP, bootloader etc etc etc. Don't believe anyone who says they have some kind of mod. The scene is not even CLOSE yet and it will take a LOT of research before we even understand the most important hardware inside the 360. And even THEN, it might be next to impossible to come up with a mod, I really doubt that it's going to happen this time ...

People have just recieved the console. I mean there's no known exploit that is worth exploiting to crack anything. The 360 lets you do everything that your current modded box does except rip games to the hard drive. If there was an exploit i'd sure hope it was a good enough one worth messing around with.

Just have some patience, the Xbox 360 was only released to the public 3 days ago.

It takes longer than that to develop a modchip!

Actually, I just made one and it works great! I am, however, keeping it to myself and not giving out the secret sauce.

I had the XBOX360 for 24 hrs now.


J/K.. Give it some time. This is all the fun. At least for me anyway...

As far as the chip process goes just keep in mind how Xecuter says a new product is coming in 30 days, shows pictures and says it's 100%. What happens? 3-4 months later it shows up! LOL If you think a chip is going to pop the day it's hacked you better sit back... every process takes awhile to do. Even if a hack was found tomorrow it would probably take months before a stable, fully tested chip would be manufactured and released.

Before you guys think about making a mod chip or buying a mod chip, first think about making the system itself actually WORK!!.....damn overheating, crashing piece of crap....wait a little, wise up, and buy the PS3!!!!
