Heatsink On Gpu To Darn Small?

But didn't they (MS, Xbox crew) infact test this machines in high humidity and temperature (60C)? I heard/saw that in some XBOX 360 Video. Why are they failing now in peoples homes? Possible manifactoring errors (Thermalpaste, dirt/dust in between the die and heatsink)?

well also, a lot of it is being caused by consumer error

people arent realizing that the PSU is OUTSIDE of the xbox, with no fans, and that it can get very hot, so it needs room to breath (it even says in the manual to have it in a well ventilated place , IE not a bookshelf or behind a tv)
Alot of the problems can be solved by moving the psu to a flat, non carpeted surface (or just put a hard cover book under it so its off the carpet) and keeping the sides of it in open air
