Hello all, I got E 74 with the bottom right section of the ring flashing. Also got the secondary error code of 1022 for AV cable error.

So how likely is it that I just need a new AV cable and dont have my 360 off to microsoft?

Well, that sucks. I was hoping I just needed a new AV cable because I dont want to have to deal with Microsoft.

hey i just xclamp fixed my xbox which had the 0102 error code. ive fixed several of these without any problems at all. after i did this fix i tried turning on the xbox to let it over heat and the power supply just shuts down and i get the 0003 error code...ive tried this power brick on my other xbox and it works fine.

any ideas of what might be the problem, and how i might be able to fix it?

its a jtaggable xbox so sending it in is the last thing i wanna do with this thing.

thanks guys

Ive been trying to fix my xbox 360 for a couple days now. Ive done the penny trick, and cleaned the cpu and gpu. Then after i overheat my xbox and let it cool down it just goes right back to the 3 rings. Any help?

Hey guys,
My Xbox 360 has the 1, 2, and 3 red light error. (4 isn't on) When I power it on the fans go on for a second, but then do not work, and I do not hear any noise. I have tried the "Llama Mod", including the screws and the overheating, but nothing has happened.

Any insight to what the problem is?
Thanks,
Will

First you should post a new topic with your problem and not bring an old post to tell your problem... second you must provide the secondary error code so we can figure out what is wrong. Read the stickies to find out how to do it.

Just a cold/bad solder under your GPU I pressume. The RROD will come back because you didn't reflow it as much as should be. But for now, it should be fine, it will last from 1 week up to few months maybe. Next time try Llama's method to reflow or , for more advanced fix, do a proper heatgun or reball fix.

well so far its working perfect, but a couple a things i noticed with the v2 is that it had that plastic around the edges of the cpu n gpu also noticed that it used 16.5 amps which my falcon used the same amount n its wierd seeing as that the v2 was manufactured around late 2006,n my falcon around late 2007.one more thing i did have to replace a couple of resistors under the cpu.i forgot to mention in the first past that it was also giving me e69 quite a few times even when the harddrive wasnt connected.

Seems like you messed up a lot with your console so far. When you get another issue next time, I recommend you to get it to a proffessional technician to fix it for you.

I had an error code 0102. I X-Clamped it. Now I'm getting error code 0020.

any ideas what could be doing this?

I made sure the bolts weren't over torqued.
