S-controllers On The 360

There have been threads made about this in the past.  See HERE and HERE for examples.  We all know that M$ has stated no B.C. with hardware.  But, has anyone tried using a CONTROLLER TO USB ADAPTER yet?  This makes the S-controller into a USB instead of a xbox dongle.  If not, somebody do it!  I would, but won't get mine till the 22nd.

Because the hardware isn't supported...  a lack of drivers for it?
