Play&charge Kit
« on: November 10, 2005, 03:12:00 PM »

Hi,

Does someone of you guys have some knowledge about the "Play&Chargekit" for the 360? I'm wondering about the charging bit, is the other end of the cable only a USB connector thats possible to even connect to an wall usbcharger adaptor such as the appleusb charger? Or is it something else? Greatful for answers :)

As m_hael stated, it's a USB male plug on one end, and a controller plug on the other.

Based on this, I don't see why you couldn't plug the USB end into an apple usb charger. I'm assuming you mean the charger that you would plug your iPod into, the white sucker that has a single USB port in it.

I wouldn't hold it to me, but I assume it will work. I hope so anyway, that would be helpful.

Thanks for the reply guys, yeah I thought it would be that too (USB-Male on the other part) I was just curious because the other end on the MSs x360 page looks like some smaller kind of connector.

Just wanted to be sure, it would be kind of rediculous to have to buy the charger and battery seperate. ;)

They will be offering a wall charger that charges two battery packs at a time. I dont think it will be out at launch though.

Yeah, NiCd is too polluting, so they use NiMH.

they should use lithium batteries..... they last alot longer than nickle batteries I beleive, and also allow you to charge them without any lost 'memory'
