"Yup, that’s a Project Gotham Racing 3 faceplate. Nope, I don’t have the foggiest about it. And likewise, the guy that sent in the tip is in the dark as well. He had received the link from someone who wouldn’t tell him anything. Maybe there are more covers out there. Maybe that guy that found the image knows. If so, he’s not telling."

That's all I know.  Sorry if it has already been posted.  Pretty sweet looking.

Personally I think the face plates are a big waste of money. The only customising I'll do to the 360 is paint it to match my current Xbox. Though there are some nice designs they've come up with.

Just a quick note, that faceplate is laminated Carbon Fiber, not the standard ABS based plastic.

I believe its a limited edition (wont be for sale) with PGR.

OLD! It's no secret that it was taken at an MS press room where they demoed the beta debug/dev kits a week ago on sunday.

I must say that's probably the only faceplate I've seen so far that I'd consider buying...

Though I must say I'm interested as to what that USB device is hanging out the front in the picture... it looks like a wireless dongle of some sort (though we know it's not for controllers, DVD remote, or Wi-Fi... so what is it?)

I think thats a creative muvo Mp3 player, you can see the hole for the headphone jack at the top of it.

Cool... Custom soundtracks was one of my favorite features of PGR. I can't wait till I can just stream my PGR soundtrack from my desktop in another room  :luv:
