Has anyone heard if the xbox and the 360 can be system-linked. I'm wondering if my friends and i are playing halo 2 on the 360 if it can be linked with people playing on the xbox, because then we might be able to have the ultimate halo 2 game--16 boxes and 16 tv's. Let me know if you've heard anything.

I have heard that if you have an xbox360, and you are playing halo 2 on it, you will be able to play against someone playing halo 2 on a xbox. I don't know if it will be the same with system link(or even if the xbox live thing is true).

Willis is correct. Although you will NOT be able to sign into XBOX LIVE on BOTH Xbox v1 and XBOX 360 at the same time. Which means that you will also not be able to have a guest sign in on your original Xbox and you sign in on your 360 so you both have full screens. this is a really good question ...

i was @ a local book store reading the XBOX MAGAZINE featuring the 360 and they pointed out that the SYSTEM LINK feature will still be there ..

on a LAN environment, you can have ur regular xbox and have ur 360 connected and play ...

a good example is for HALO, everybody loves the multiplayer option .. so you can have both .. linked up the xbox n 360 ...
