hey, we wanted the thing to be smaller and sexyer (well not all but some) and so to do theat m$ needs to take out the psu.  also think of the interferace that goes away with this   lol

"Smaller and Sexier"?  Looking at that PSU, the 360 system as a whole is bigger than the original xbox!!  Its sorta like designing a sleak little sports car but then not having room for the engine so you put it in a huge ass trailer which must be towed by the sports car.

it def. wont be like that....how are you sure its the psu even?  its not visibly connected to the system itself.

also, thats white...so its not a dev kit.  the only units produced so far are the darker dev kits, no real white systems have been made - so i dont think its going to be like that.

really no systems been made yet, maybe u should check out the vid that been all over the internet of the asembly line  etc.

Heh, real white systems have definitely been made... If they haven't, MS is going to have a tough time getting these out on the 22 :)

You could definatly blugen someont to death with that thing, hope it doesn't get hot enough to burn a hole in my floor :wacko:

on a side note,..
I think some of the parts started to be manufactured as far back as august.  Also,.. the people that got to go the the NY and SF press events said they were playing the latest build which some implies debug kit ;) , not retail hardware (think some said that they were debug kits too).  In all the pics I saw from thos events the 360's looked white too, but you never know we just might end up with that brick.
