I work on a Dell Optiplex at my company and let me show you people something I've seen for a while but never posted. Here is a picture of the Dell Optiplex GX280 Side by Side with the 360

Now here is only the Dell Optiplex GX280 flipped horizontal.

Now guys, as you can see the power button is in basically the same spot. The USB Port opening was shrunk and now houses the controller ports on the 360. The CD-Rom is in the exact same spot. Where the floppy drive goes on the Dell is where the Controllers go on the 360. All the designer at 360 did was create the concave design which was almost already there on the Dell.

Someone please comment on this because I see an Xbox 360 when I look at my companies Dell machines.

hey i wok on those daily, personallyi'm not fond of those cases at all the new520's are alot more managable and a more professional look. However I do se the resemblane between the 2. Jsut glad the 360 isn't that ugly.

i believe there are 3-4 topics about this..and i dont really think they look alive. It'd be like saying a Honda civic and a Subaru Impreza look alike. They both have 4 doors, they both have 4 wheels, they are somewhat shaped alike, and if you squint the right way they might as well be the same.

I dont think MS said hey lets model it after a Optiplex dell computer

Actually they jumped way off and said "it's completely different hardware" yet the guy was only saying they looked alike, same as this one.
