don't you mean only applies to the ABXY and not the triggers?

BTW the triggers are not buttons... they're triggers... buttons are those little round things, when they say the controllers don't have analog BUTTONS they're not talking about TRIGGERS or STICKS. not everything on the controller is a button  :P

Hmmmm.... I still think someone might be able to make this work in the future even if MS won't support the original pads. Again we won't really know unil november 22.... I don't think the guide button is really a problem because if you need it you can use the remote or another xbox 360 pad... I got 4 controllers for my xbox and would hate to see them go to waste. :angry:  :angry:  :angry:

NO, I meant it as I said, I think that analog buttons are great and lots of games would really suck without them (triggers are a given as you stated) if I have to lose the analog feature of the shoulder buttons that will be tolerable since I don't think anyone used the analog feature of the white and black buttons (though they were fully analog).

As over discussed in other threads this is a step backwards if they drop analog buttons.
