Yeah, yours look better. But, MS could have put underglow in the original Xbox or lit the jewel but they didn't.
I am happy enough with how it looks.

Does the jewel rotate in order to look correctly when in a horizontal position?

Thats exactly what i thought when i saw it.. what about when the unit is lying down.. thats why that button wouldnt work..
