They have sholder buttons on top of the triggers (like R1 and L1 on PS) if I understand it all correctly.  Basically they moved the white and black buttons to sholder buttons (I think it could be a good move, though I don't like PS's shoulder buttons (2 sets))

This guy doesn't make much of a topic. He hopes what stays like what? There are 2 bumper buttons (stick out a bit more than ps2 shoulder buttons) and 2 triggers.

Don't like it? Well, live with it I guess. It's not a big deal - I like it better this way. Now I can do more than just two things with my index fingers (due to only 2 shoulder buttons - the triggers). I hated when you have to let go of the right joystick to press the black button to reload (etc) - you lose control of your character that way.

at first i didnt like the idea of the 360 controllers having a similar lay-out to the ps2 controllers but looking at how they implemented it and how every single person that has held the controller describes it as heaven in their hands i have faith it will be great.   ;)

personally i think they should have kept the same lay-out as the duke controller with the 6 face buttons, but im happy they got rid of the hard to reach lay-out of the s-contollers.

The dukes are the best, but these will have to do if there is no adapter.

Intec is on board and making Xbox 360 controllers and one of their main designs for the current Xbox is making Duke replicas.

I prefer the new design. I hated having to press tiny white and black buttons on the controller.

I'm glad that they moved the buttons on the controllers, in my opinion they will be easier to use while still being able to use your right thumb for other buttons.
