hm... as far as I know no team cracked the original xbox.. and it isn't like they have actually come up with any way to buypass the security, all that has been done by other individuals... It will probably be the same way this time arround if it gets cracked

the Smartasses removed the pictures. that picture of the 3 X360's looks kind of photoshopped , plus probably the pictures arent theirs, they found them and stamped their brand on them.

I don't think it's photoshoped, look at the case reflections in the glass table, and white glare bouncing of everything that the flash hit, and the glare from the dvdslot on the middle one. And color bleeding on the edge of the controller.

And 2 of the xbox's with objects on them or directly in front of them (headset, chip, controller), with perfect shadows and reflections, it would have to be one hell of a photoshop job...

Franz was saying in #xbox-scene last night that the bandwidth was killing his server.. he probably took them down for the time being.

to all you idiots that think console manufactures purposly leave holes for mods in consoles should be shot. World wide millions of consoles are sold out of all those millions how many get modded were talking thousands most of the world is either not smart enough to mod a console or does not care to mod there console. So yeah a console might have holes but there not there intentionaly and some holes are so good that fixing that hole will compromise other system features. I don't think leaving holes in the consoles wopuld give any manufacture anymore market gain either. MS looked at everything people have done to there xbox to incorporate it into the 360 media center, custom face plates, quiter cooling so even less people would have the desire to crack this thing open. But i do hope some one finds an exploit some day but i think it'll take atleast a year after it goes retail.

Well the dev kits will have a big help for modding.I know the current
xbox dev kits boot unsigned code(debug)Also on a dev/debug kit you
can do everything and more than a retail xbox,the only thing is the
bios a real debug can only read 137GB.You ever heard of a TEST PS2.
its for debuging PS2 games, its region free plays ps1 backups/
oringals/PS2 backups/oringals.The Xbox360 Dev Kits will play a
big role for the modding scene.I wonder what color the Xbox 360
Debug Kits will be.

He just said that the security holes (back doors what not) are not put there on purpose... quite a big difference... we all know nothing is 100% secure he was just responding to some people saying that it's done on purpose.

You are correct without the modding scene xbox possibly wouldn't have done as well as it did that doesn't mean it was moddable on purpose.
