Hasn't Team Xecuter had access to some sort of Xbox360 dev kit for months?  Thats what I got from a news post on their website in April...

i don't really see a point in having a mod chip on the 360...isn't it going to do what you could do on a modded xbox, and more? I might not know what i'm talking about but could someone clear this up for me because i don't really see the point in gettign a modchip for the 360 seeing as all the features i love on a modded xbox will be on the 360...

absolutely. you can paint the console, change some lights. maybe hardwire a controller or two. But as for a mod chip? not happening with the SmartXX Team or anyones for that matter. Besides what would the chip let you do on it's own? SmartXX doesn't create dashes or other homebrew apps. Maybe this gives them a little headstart over the competition, but I wouldn't expect too many great things from SmartXX inthe beginning.

A somewhat correct translation of the text on the external psu (pic 01) should be something like this.

"apparatus should be connected to a grounded outlet when connected to a network(lan)"

I was wondering the same thing. Because the 'regularly yellow' dvd cable is there, but no IDE. Probably being used to save space and improve circulation? I'm now an SATA specialist but I haven't seen any DVD drives listed for sale as SATA's; but I've never looked either.  biggrin.gif

the only thing i see modding at this point is the case, painting it High gloss black and giving it a red LED "ring of light" so far i think this is going to be awesome; since it was confirmed to run on Windows Vista, not just media center! As long as it runs Divix im good...

the one thing Smartxx did pioneer was a modchip on the bottom on a 1.6 M/B. I have the same one picture in the 3 x360 picture. Other than that i cant think of anything else.
