Usb Port On Controllers?

There are two ports on the wireless 360 controller and one on the 360 wired controller. The wireless and the wired have a port facing the user which is used for the headset and future expansion. (look like it may be a USB port-not confirmed yet)The additional port on the wireless controller (between the new sholder buttons) is a USB port that is used to convert the wireless to a wired controller. The USB connection from the 360 to the controller provides 5 volts DC that will operate and charge the controller, if it contains the rechargable battery pack. (sold separately of course) The wireless controller will let you know when the batteries are getting low by color changes on the controller 360 logo. (not confirmed yet) I have not yet read if the wireless controller stops transmitting at 2.4 ghz and then communicates threw the USB port.  I would guess that the USB port would just provide power to the wireless controller for operating and charging. To communicate using the USB port you would need to reconnect to the 360 and establish which controller number it is, causing a pause in the game. I think this would piss people off to much. The wired controllers would use both the power lines and communication lines on the USB port. (like the current xbox controllers)And No you will not be able to use your current xbox controllers with a simple plug change.
