Damn I cant wait... I think Ill be in boot camp when they come out or I would have just gotten out... Sad thing is: Ill have to wait til I actually get on base housing and a tv to get a damn machine.

Those are all JPEG compression artifacts.

What the flip? IGN even put their name on the pic! Give Keva and XS some credit for being more on top of their stuff than IGN!

As far as the controller issue. The 360 is stock with wireless. They will probably ship with USB cables so you can use them wired too. In case you didn't know, USB cables can provide power to peripheral components. My guess would be that the controllers will have some kind of a litium-ion battery similar to the kind found in MP3 players and laptop computers. So my guess is that you charge your controller with a USB connection. So don't ask about the cable anymore.

As far as it being a fake... I'm guessing it's real. It looks a little too complicated for somebody to photoshop it. Who cares if it's cosmetically ugly. It's a beta. I don't think MS cares about what the final unit looks like right now. They probably just wanted to get it out to the developers so they can start their work on the new console. So when you buy your new Xbox 360, it'll look much prettier than that. Who cares what it looks like, most of us on this forum will take it apart and paint it anyway.
