Ps3 Aiming For X360 Compatibility?

What if you can network the PS3 and Xbox 360 and play a LAN game. smile.gif

I mean it's just using standard networking protocols, what if different platform versions of the same game where networked together!

I'd rather it take over the PS3 and have the 360 send a message to the user of the PS3 saying, "All your consoles are belong to us!!!" Then have total control over the unit.....then make it blow up. smile.gif

To me it's quite obvious what sony is planning. The fact that a cell phone can interact with xbox live should give you guys a clue. I don't see any chance of cross platform gaming but I do see some type of instant messenger between the two. They're both gonna have the eye toy or what ever and have a way to chat with your freinds so I think it'd be easy enough to implicate.
