I don't believe so, they think that players with mice have an advantage over the people using controllers, but some games may use a keyboard such as PSO, and other MMO's like WoW/Huxely will most likely be keyboard compatible for typing and possibly some other things.

There will be no mouse. The keyboard will be available if you want. The reason why is A: mouse users would have an upper hand and B: you can't use it for anything else(the UI does not support it).

Some games will provide native usb and keyboard support....

Most of them will not ...

I will get an adapter to play fps shooters with keyboard/mouse.. it fools the 360 its being controlled with a controller....

I hope all games will give native support, but that the turning speeds etc are restricted by the game so it will give NO advantage to mouse players...

I won't mind is mice could be used if they worked exactly as you said, like an adapter. When you move the mouse right, it's like moving the joystick right.

I am much better with the joystick than I am with the mouse, but f course a master with mice can own a master with joysticks. either way, I was at a lan party thing after school and we were playing counterstrike etc and there I was yelling "Goddamn mice!".

I just can't keep a steady hand. I can't keep a target within my crosshairs while moving.

Mommy, wheres my joystick!  sad.gif

heh I'm the same way... when playing FPS games with a mouse either the sensitivity it so high that I can't keep things steady, or It's so low that I'm slow to move and end up picking up and re-centering my mouse 10 times a second.
I have a USB adapter for my S-Type and a custom INI for use on UT when I play against my PC gamer friends

Though there are certain games where I prefer a mouse... Rez on my Dreamcast was WAY better with a mouse than with an analog stick. Also games like C&C, Myst etc. all work much better with a mouse.

I play CS with a mouse and the only reason the mice players would have an advantage is, it is easier for them to turn up the look sensitivity to max and play really well which is almost impossible with a joy stick, I say if you turn on a simple filter that people can filter out mice players it would be great, I know a ton of PC gamers that would pick up a 360 if only you could use a mouse.

Keyboard i can understand but a mouse? The great things about consoles and controllers is that you can just lie back and play a game, no need for a flat surface or to even be upright :P

that doesnt work that way ... if i am playing online... i want to win ... so i am in a upright position...

this counts for games with a controller aswell....
With topspin maybe i can win a game on system link lying on the couch, but when i play on live im paying attention...

i dont want to loose, and try hard not to loose (in a fair way)

lying on the couch is for watching tv :)

When I play Halo 2 on kai I can normaly lie down and still win but it is alot harder, for some reason I make alot more mistakes I guess it's hard for my brain to register and comprehend the TV at an angle owell. I also sit up when I am playing hard and concentrating. Alot of PC players play PC for the one reason they can use a mouse. If they can create a simple filter for them or find a way to tone down their look sensitivity they would be able to pull a huge crowd from PC and sell tons of units. It would be a great move and I would play with a mouse from time to time to mix things up.

I love mouse for first person shooters...

I played halo1 for more than a year.. but i sucked...
now with the mouse adapter (i dont think its an advantage over joystick users as its restricted) its fun to play...

But i get owned by people who play it more often than i do ... and that is the way it should be ...

If ... on xbox360 .. its possible to filter mouse users... i am getting both... an adapter... to play with my joypad friends... and a normal keyboard and mouse to play with the mouse users once and a while...

Let me tell you something, I suck at using a mouse for any type of game; well really I just suck at using a mouse for shooting games.

Reasons

1. Too used to controller for systems
2. My computer's video card sucks
3. No games are crashing?
