I haven't heard of any since they announced the beta's have been shipped. Right now the developers haven't had enough time to fine tune their games to produce screenshots, they only have 6 months with the final hardware to meet their launch deadline so they are working pretty hard. In the next few months new screenshots of what finalized games should be looking like will trickle out.

I think they did get the beta kits. Also at e3 the xbox 360 games were running on two G5's and the highest video card that the g5's have are x800's, I think, and they do not support more than one AA and the xbox will have 4 AA running. Also Any screen you have seen is beta or alpha versions of the games. Any Dev kit will have way more power than any gaming computer out right now. Most of the tech in the 360 was made out of next gen tech so when the 360 come out it will be the cheapest, most powerful home computer ever. Anyway, from what I have seen/read, the 360's that are working are only one-third to one-fourth as powerful as the retail 360 will be.

The beta kits should have close to what the final hardware will be (an old ign article said it has the final hardware, but I'm not sure so I wont say they do, I don't think the gfx chip is done yet is it?), so when new screens come out that are running off the beta's that should be about what to expect.

the alpha dev kits ran at 25% the actually performance level of the 360...on another note just to shut up ps3 fanatics...not that ive seen any here... the ps3 was running at 75% and all of the footage of the ps3 games had been CGed so the ps3 wont erally be any better than we've already seen and the 360 will be 4 times as powerful at least...my source was off some legit website but i dont save the history on my computer and im too lazy to find it so you'll just have to trust me.

I'm sorry but we're all going to have to agree my soon to be desktop computer will outperform the PS3 and 360 combined....

Fujitsu expects to build a supercomputer that can perform 3 quadrillion calculations per second, or petaflops, in 2011, EE Times reported Friday. The Japanese computer maker is examining new approaches for the system, believing that mere extensions of today's designs won't be sufficient to reach the goal, the report said.

Wonder if any 'top-tier' (Xecuter/Xodus/ SmartXX) modchip-manufacturers has got a hold of a Xbox360 beta development kit yet?

I'm not sure how good it would do them even if they did get a hold of the kits...

I would imagine MS doesn't bother putting in many or any securities on the Beta Kits (I would imagine developers don't have to sign all their code to test it, so what is there to hack?)... besides who knows what the hardware is like, if it's anything like Alpha kits it will be different enough from the final hardware that it wouldn't even be worth working on hacking it.

There is always the change that it's nearly identical to final hardware, but at this point I don't think the MS engineers even know for sure  laugh.gif

Devs of course have to be able to load unsigned code, but hardware will deffinitly be secured and it should be the same as final product, (like the Xbox1 dev kits).

The Dev Beta Kits hardware is suppose to be the same hardware as the final product, in Xbox1 the only differance was debug-BIOS, debug-DASH and more memory.

Again, hardware of both the Beta Dev Kits (and also the final Xbox360 Dev Kits) should be the same as the consumer-retail Xbox 360, should only differ in BIOS/SW.

So hacking the Xbox 360 Dev Kits (Beta or not) should at the very least give the modchip-manufacturers and freelance hardware-hackers a good head start cool.gif
