this is the last part of the log file, do i need to change something in the dns?
i have the xbox connected to my pc through a nic, and i am using a dsl modem through my usb port. i have the connection shared, and i am able to ftp to my box.
what settings do i need to change?  <

Firewall on?

I have had major problems with zonealarm 5, worked fine with it off, but with it on the same thing.

I reverted back to 4.5 and all is fine again.

I do not know if you use a firewall, but if you do try disableing it and give it another go.

Also , if you have a fireall, check so ICS is setup right in it too...

all firewalls are off, thing is, i can go to the ms dashboard and switch ip settings to auto and it will connect to live, once im back to evox it goes back to manual settings and wont connect.  <
