Getting My Box Online..

Im using a modified xbox and cable internet connection using dhcp, when i connect  my utp cable to my xbox i cant get online and my ip is detected as 192.168.0.2 in evox and i get an error x in avalaunch.. anyone has any ideas on how i can fix this?
