You DO mean XML and not HTML...

HTML has a limited amount of valid tags whereas XML has as many as are recognised by the program using the XML file - ever seen < mediacenter> < /mediacenter> on a webpage??

hey, i can connect to the internet perfectly fine with my xbox, with dhcp settings, but whenever i start the xlink kai engine, the internet and everything stops working on my box. i inserted my name and stuff in the .xml file and it shows my name but it shows 0 arenas. should it work with dhcp ip. or is sumtin else wrong?

ok, my problem is...

i can connect.
i can see the arenas
i can get into the arenas and see the players...
but then....the problem start.
on that moment, i put the game in and go to systemlink and nothing happend. it said it didn`t find any game if i want to create one, etc..

what i`m doing wrong?

I have the engine running on my PC, i`m not logged on the UI.
don`t get it.

you def cant edit it to support XBC on your own (unless you are an extremely experienced programmer) and I dont know if XBMC will ever support XBC. It is possible, but I def wouldnt advise holding your breath!!

I think there is a bug in it, when you try to join a game it cant find them.

I thought it wasn't working as well, but just kept retrying and then I got a game.

So I'm thinking either it dosent relay back that all games are full/private or it is having difficulty locating the game before timeout.

Just theory.

thanks for the tip, read it, and ive done ALL of that and it still refuses. I see my name up at the top and it says arenas, friends, games, but shows no arenas. Just shows the default games so i know im not connected. Ah well, will keep trying.

iv managed to get some where in trying to get this to work.

if ur using evo x, i thin k u have to have a staticip set, i was trying with out 1

i have edited my xml & ran though the tut

i can see areanas, and games and people

but cant really find out how to connect

go to the areana you want , push back , my programs, enter the game, system link, search, no game found?

am i doing some thing wrong?

maybe there was nobody hosting when u are trying to join?

should try hosting, see if someone joins instead
